"It Be Right" has been adopted by the Hornsea Rescue crew as their unofficial motto. Stolen from Shaun Palmer a man of few words,Leading Coxswain and one of the founders of Hornsea Rescue.

Shaun fished the waters off Hornsea and neighbouring Bridlington for many years, launching and recovering heavy wooden Yorkshire Cobbles from the beach in the most difficult conditions. His experience is invaluable to Hornsea Rescue. He has passed on his knowledge freely over the years and this has helped to save many lives. When things look bad or problems occur an "it be right" (all will turn out well in the end) from Shaun is always reassuring... and usually things do turn out "right".
