This rescue boat was purchased by Hornsea Inshore Rescue in 1996 and has since then undergone a fair few upgrades.

New engines were purchased in 2003 and fitted in the same year. And engines again replaced in 2010 with Twin Mercury 40hp Two Strokes

Although "Charity" has served us well over the years helping to save many lives, she is now starting to show her age and we purchased a new rescue boat "Emily Laura" in 2011. Charity will have a happy retirement as one of our RYA training boats and will be kept rescue ready...just in case.
