Hornsea Inshore Rescue’s “Lion’s Room” is not only used for training and lectures but also for our very popular “Fish and Ships” events where groups of between 15 and 50 people are treated to a talk on the organisation’s background and current activities with videos, mock call out and demonstrations followed by a guided tour of the boathouse, rescue craft and facilities. All rounded off with a fish and chip lunch or supper provided by Hornsea’s award-winning fish restaurant and a question and answer session over refreshments.
