The children were fascinated when Chris and Phil brought Troy, Megan and Paddy to see us in the nursery this morning.
These are part of the WACCI Dogs Water Rescue Team. These fantastic Newfoundland dogs are trained to rescue people and animals from lakes, rivers and the sea!
The children got to say hello to these huge dogs and learn all about their role in the rescue team.
We would like to say a BIG thank you to Chris and Phil for bringing them along to meet us today and we hope to be able to see them in action training on the beach at Mappleton in the near future.
